Dr. Jagat Shah is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse range of expertise. He is the chief mentor for the Amazing Goa Global Business Summit 2024 and is also credited with co-founding of other global expos such as Vibrant Goa, Vibrant Kutch, Vibrant Saurashtra, Vibrant Ceramics, and Vibrant Tamil Nadu. He is the founder of Global Network, advising overseas governments and companies on trade, technology transfer, joint ventures, and investments. He runs an international trade training school in Ahmedabad, known as Global Network Institute, conducting programs attended by businesses from around the world. Apart from the above initiatives, he has contributed greatly to projects he created like Vibrant Markets, Global Chamber, Cluster Pulse, Smart Village and Mentor on Road. He is also a well published Author and Speaker with a focus on philosophy of life and lockdown activities for business growth.
Why Amazing Goa?
Goa attracts a large number of tourists from across the globe and is accessible through an international airport. International carriers operate around 500 air charter flights between Goa and countries such as Germany, Russia, the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland and Norway.
Goa is a coastal state located in Western India. Goa is accessible through sea-route and has a presence of one of the 12 major ports in India at Mormugao. The state is also well-connected through rail and road routes. The National Highway-17 connects Goa with Mumbai in Maharashtra and other major cities in Karnataka.
The state is richly endowed with minerals such as iron ore, manganese, ferro-manganese, bauxite and silica sand. It has about 22 industrial estates established by Goa Industrial Development Corporation.
